Back in 2018, the first year that we lived in Hawaii, Marcus and Felicia flew me back to Tennessee to document their wedding day. The previous fall, right before our big move, Marcus had hired me for family photos that also turned into a surprise proposal! When they reached out to me once they picked a date, they told me they wanted to fly me out if I was willing. Of course I said yes, and felt so honored that they wanted me to still be a part of the wedding day! The love these two share is so real you can feel it, and I still can't hep but smile looking back at their photos.
After a bit of planning, and a plane ticket later I was in TN and soo excited for the big day! From the hand made signs that Felicia's dad made, to the letters that the bride and groom wrote each other, all the little details made the day so special.
During the ceremony, Marcus and Felicia had a hand washing ceremony. It was to symbolize washing away any past grief, and was such a unique and beautiful touch.
Probably my favorite part of the day, was the bride and groom portraits. The owners of the farm let us get close and personal with the horses, and it was pure magic.
The reception space in the barn was absolutely stunning! The table numbers were the cutest thing ever, each one was a cute fact about Marcus and Felicia!
