Hello 2019!! It's been a while since I last blogged, busy season hit me full force this past year and I could barely keep on top of editing, let alone blogging! I decided to take a little break and focus on editing and getting all my client their galleries back before Christmas, so that meant blogging would have to wait until the new year. And now here we are! I'm so excited to take a took back and share with you guys some more amazing sessions and weddings. Marcus and Felicia's wedding day was something I was looking forward to alll year. I photographed their surprise proposal the fall of 2017 when I still lived in Tennessee (throwback below) and at the time I didn't think I would have the chance to photograph them again. After my husband and I had moved to Hawaii, Felicia reached out to me about documenting their wedding day, and when she mentioned flying me back out to TN I was soo honored! It meant so much that they were willing to do that to have me there.
After a bit of planning, and a plane ticket later I was in TN and soo excited for the big day! From the hand made signs that Felicia's dad made, to the letters that the bride and groom wrote each other, all the little details made the day so special.
During the ceremony, Marcus and Felicia had a hand washing ceremony. It was to symbolize washing away any past grief, and was such a unique and beautiful touch.
Probably my favorite part of the day, was the bride and groom portraits. The owners of the farm let us get close and personal with the horses, and it was pure magic.
The reception space in the barn was absolutely stunning! The table numbers were the cutest thing ever, each one was a cute fact about Marcus and Felicia!
